Real estate is personal. We think your agent should be too. Here's who you'll actually be dealing with.

Hayley Niedenfuhr · Principal
Hi, I'm Hayley.
I'm the Principal of Allure Realty, although my story in real estate started long before Allure did.
I first stepped into the industry in 1997, working weekends and school holidays as a receptionist in my dad's real estate office. I loved it. The people, the properties, the unpredictability and the fact that no two days were ever quite the same.
When I finished school in 2000, there was no question about what I wanted to do. I went straight into Property Management and found the part of real estate that really suited me.
I loved the organisation and problem solving, but what stayed with me most were the relationships. You become part of important chapters in people's lives. A tenant finding a home. An investor buying their first property. A landlord navigating a difficult situation. A family selling and moving on to something new.
Over the years, I've managed hundreds of properties and worked across rent rolls of all sizes. I've also bought, sold and invested in property myself, so I understand what it feels like to sit on the other side of the desk.
And sometimes, I didn't love what I experienced.
I knew what it felt like to be treated like a number. To have to chase for answers. To wonder whether anyone was actually listening. That shaped the kind of real estate business I wanted to create.
Then came 2017.
I was 33, a single mum with a two-year-old, going through a divorce, moving house and — apparently deciding life wasn't quite complicated enough — buying a real estate business on my own.
Plenty of people thought I was crazy. Some thought I would fail. I bought it anyway.
It was scary. It was hard. There were plenty of moments when I wondered what on earth I had gotten myself into. But it was also one of the best decisions I've ever made. It gave me the opportunity to build the kind of agency I believed real estate could be: personal, knowledgeable, adaptable and genuinely invested in the people we work with.
Real estate is personal. I think your agent should be too.
After more than 25 years in the industry, one thing I know for certain is that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach to property. Every owner is different. Every tenant is different. Every rental property, sale property and situation comes with its own circumstances.
My goal has never been to have the biggest rent roll or the most signs on the Gold Coast. I'd rather build an agency where our clients know who they're dealing with, feel comfortable picking up the phone and never wonder whether they matter to us. Because they do.
And when I'm not talking property…
Life is wonderfully busy. I'm a mum, an aunty, an animal lover and someone who will choose track pants and Ugg boots over heels almost every time. Our household currently includes a puppy, two cats, three guinea pigs and a turtle, so apparently my definition of "boutique" only applies to the office.
I love travelling, have a big family, will happily find an excuse to dress up in costume and have been to every P!NK concert in Queensland.
Community is also a big part of my life. I work closely with organisations supporting homeless youth, children with Child Safety, people with disabilities and vulnerable members of our community, and I regularly volunteer locally — feeding the homeless and giving them a voice.
Do I have the whole work-life balance thing perfectly figured out? Absolutely not. I juggle. I reorganise. I occasionally wonder how there are only 24 hours in a day. But I make it work.
And perhaps that's another reason I understand our clients so well. Behind every property is a real person with a life, a family, pressures, plans and goals of their own.
I'm proud that we've remained boutique. It means we can give our clients the time and attention they deserve, while allowing me to remain present for my family and involved in the community I care about.
I don't measure success by becoming the biggest agency. I measure it by the people who stay with us, recommend us, come back to us and trust us with their properties again.
